Regarding the gluteus medius

"The layman certainly knows about the breasts because he has read poems about them. He may have read, for instance, the poem, 'O come, the maiden says, and rest your weary head upon this breast.' But no poet would ever write, 'O come, the maiden says, and rest your weary head upon this gluteus medius.' He would get thrown out of the poetry society and everything else. "We never run into the word 'gluteus medius' and so we do not know it exists. Yet this is one of the great masses of the body because its function is so important. It pulls the leg out to the side. So get into the artist's mind and forget the literary mind. Remember that every mass in the body has its own importance even though nobody has ever written a poem about it."
