Sketching at bars

Kalina Wilson May 10, 2011

I've been experimenting with working on toned backgrounds. Saturday's sketchcrawl to the  Horse Brass Pub with its dark, cluttered interiors seemed like a good opportunity to try out some prepared pages.  While there I accidentally drank a Walking Man Black Cherry Stout in the middle of the day, but, you know, it's for art.

I want to do a lot more of this.

On Sunday Mike and I ended up at Whiskey Soda Lounge for a snack and got a good view of all the folks waiting for tables at Pok Pok across the street
