About me

My first name is Kalina. I live in Portland, Oregon, with my fella and my little orange fella, in one of those cute brick courtyard apartments, in a unit I think of as the TARDIS Promontory.

I grew up off the grid in the wilds of Northern California, spent a decade having a grand old time in Berkeley, spent some time travelling abroad which seemed to cause my old self to fall apart leaving something new but nearly blank in its place,and eventually landed in Portland penniless and downhearted, to forge a new life or get drunk trying. Eventually, it worked.

I love a lot of things, including comics, urban sketching, Scotland, the Pet Shop Boys, Doctor Who, men in top hats, Hazy Lattes from Pix Patisserie, and my verdant Southeast Portland neighborhood where I often awake during the night to the sounds of singing bicyclists.
